ORDINANCE NO. 5252 -70 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $315,000.00 <br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING <br />FUND. <br />WHEREAS, engineering studies have been completed <br />outlining needs for a sewer to serve the area south of Ireland <br />Road in the Phillips Ditch area, and <br />WHEREAS, funds are now needed for appraisals, land <br />acquisition, design engineering and construction, and <br />WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund <br />has been established, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $315,000.00 be appropri- <br />ated from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for <br />the extension of the southwest trunk sewer. <br />SECTION II.
