The property sought to be rezoned is located at <br />18369 State Road 1123, South Bend, Indiana. <br />2. The property is owned by <br />The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company presently holds legal <br />title to this property. However, the property is to be purchased by <br />the Distillery, Inc., an Indiana Corporation during the month of May, <br />1972. <br />3. A legal description of the property is as follows: <br />A lot or parcel of land in the Southwest quarter of the <br />Southeast quarter of Section No. 31, Township No. 38 North, <br />Range No. 3 East, bounded by a line running as follows: <br />viz: Beginning at the intersection of the South line of <br />the North half of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast <br />quarter of said Section 31, with the Westerly line of Indiana <br />State Road 1123 (also known as Edwardsburg Highway); thence <br />Northeasterly along the Westerly line of said Indiana State <br />Road 1123, a distance of 150 feet; thence Northwesterly and <br />perpendicular to said Westerly line of Indiana State Road <br />#23, a distance of 130 feet to a point; thence Southwesterly <br />and parallel with the Westerly line of Indiana State Road <br />#23, a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence Southeasterly <br />a distance of 130 feet to the place of beginning. <br />FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br />Irene Gammon <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, JND. <br />[APR, 2 6 1972 <br />
