JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, WHICH SAID RE[U, ESTA.N IS OWNED BY SAID CITY i'OR. US$ OF 1Y5 PAR& IZVARTTJ:Nr WHERBAS, after due consideration and deliberation, it has been found by the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the real estate as hereinafter described, by reason of its restricted area and un- suited topography has never been and is not now susceptible of development for park purposes, and WrIWEAS, it has been found by said Board of Park Commissioners that said real estate can be sold and disposed of to the advantage and best interests of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and WHEREAS, said Board of Park Commissioners has prepared, delivered and submitted this ordinance to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, ordering and authorizing the sale of said real estate as by law provided, and NCW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the City of South Bend, Indiana, sell and convey the following described real estate in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, to-wit: PAx ^1 OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (tij of the SOUTHEAST QUARTER of SECTION 25, Township,37 North, Range 2 East, described as follows: - Beginning on the North line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East at a point 936.3 feet WEST of the North- east corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25; thence running SOUTH 230.45 feet parallel with the EAST line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence EAST 96' feet parallel with the North line of said Quarter; thence SOUTH 326 feet parallel with the East line of said South- east Quarter; thence WEST 354.7 feet parallel with the North line of said Quarter; thence NORTH 556.45 feet parallel with the East line of said Section; thence EAST 258.7 feet along the North line to the place of beginning, containing 4 acres, more or less. SUBJECT to legal highways, and all easements and restrictions now of record.
