AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: ORDINANCE NO. 5383 -72 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND MID -STATE CHEMICAL & SUPPLY CORP., INDIANA- POLIS, INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF CHEMICALS FOR USE FROM FEBRUARY 7, 1972 TO FEBRUARY 7, 1973, IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,125.00. (AS AMENDED) IN TITLE OF ORDINANCE DELETE WORDS "FOR USE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Water Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana and Mid -State Chemical & Supply Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana, on the 7th day of February 1972, pursuant to advertising and receipt of bids as the purchase of same is required in the operation of said Water Works, in a total quantity and a total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each classification of chemicals in the amount of $13,125.00, is hereby approved and confirmed: ITEM NO. QUANTITY DESCRIPTION TOTAL 4 175 Ton 25% Hydrofluosilicic Acid delivered F.O.B. South Bend, Indiana in tank truck loads $13,125.00 SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
