ORDINANCE NO. 5373 -71 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY FOR THE SALE AND TRANSFER OF A BULLDOZER WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached between the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, and the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County covering the sale and transfer of a certain bulldozer now belonging to and no longer needed by the City of South Bend to the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County for use in the St. Joseph County Sanitary Landfill; and WHEREAS, said agreement has been submitted for appro- val by both the South Bend Common Council and the St. Joseph County Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: SECTION I. The agreement dated December 13, 1971 be- tween the Board or Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend and the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County covering the sale and transfer of one Caterpillar D 7 Series E Bulldozer from the City of South Bend to St. Joseph County for the sum of $20,000. is hereby approved. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of South Bend and the Preside-Fie South Bend Common Council are hereby author- ized to signify such approval by signing said agreement. SECTION III.
