Located South of Ewing Avenue West of Olive Street; East of Kaley Street and North of Prairie Avenue ORDINANCE NO. 5368 -71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same relates to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: Beginning at the point of intersection of the Northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue and the West right - of -way line of Olive Street; thence Southwesterly along the Northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue to a point of intersection of the Northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue and the East right -of -way line of Kaley Street (which presently is a 30 foot wide 1/2 right -of -way); thence North along said East right -of -way line of Kaley Street to a point of intersection with the South line of Ewing Avenue; thence East along said South right -of -way to a point of intersection with the West right -of -way line of Olive Street; thence South along the West right - of -way line of said Olive Street to the place of beginning, all in the northwest 1/4 of Sec. 22, T37N, R.2E, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana. Subject to all legal highway and streets. by changing the classification of the "Use District" from "B" Residential and "Unzoned" to "A" Residential and from "No" Height and Area District to "A" Height and Area District.
