SECTIONS 2 AND 3, BEING ORDINANCE NUMBER 4381, SECTIONS 1 AND 4, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, BY PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLING CODE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That Section 2 of Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code of Caty of South Bend, being Ordinance No. 4381 -61, Section 1, as amended is further amended to read as follows: (a) The 1970 Edition of the "Basic Building Codely as promulgated by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., four copies of which are on file with the City Clerk and there available for public scrutiny, is hereby adopted as the official general building code of the city, except for such changes, additions or deletions as are specified hereafter in Section 4 (Municipal Code, Sec. 9 -3). (b) The 1971 edition of the 'One and Two Family Dwelling Code17, as promulgated jointly by the follow- ing: American Insurance Association, Building Offi- cials and Code Administrators International, Inc., International Conference of Building Officials, and Southern Building Code Congress, four copies of which are on file with the City Clerk and there available for public scrutiny, is hereby adopted as the official one and two family dwelling building code of the city, except for such changes, additions or deletions as are specified hereafter in Section 4 (Municipal Code, Sec. 9-3) SECTION II. That Section 3 of Chapter 9 of the Muni- cipal Code of the City of South Bend, being Ordinance No. 4381 -61, Sec. 4, as amended, is further amended by adding at the end thereof a new paragraph reading as follows: The provisions of the One and Two Family Dwelling Code adopted by Section 1 hereof (Municipal Code, Sec. 9 -2), shall be modified, added to or deleted so that the following articles, sections, subsect- ions, or tables shall read as follows: That Table No. 2 -A, Sec.
