BLOUGH <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 5359 -71 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $800.00 TO ACCOUNT Q -221, <br />"ELECTRIC CURRENT," AND THE TRANSFER OF SAME <br />FROM ACCOUNT Q -12, "DRIVERS AND SCUBA DIVERS, <br />RECALL AND HOLIDAY PAY" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have devel- <br />oped since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it <br />is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated <br />in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government <br />to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend <br />Fire Department for electric current, and to assure that depart- <br />ment's ability to properly perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is <br />not presently needed and more specifically as follows; to -wit: <br />$800.00 in Account Q -12 "Drivers and Scuba Divers, <br />Recall and Holiday Pay ". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. <br />Account Q -12 "Drivers <br />and transferred and a <br />Current ", in the Fire <br />in the General Fund. <br />That the sum of $800.00 be transferred from <br />and Scuba Divers, Recall and Holiday Pay ", <br />ppropriated to Account Q -221, "Electric <br />Department Budget, both accounts being with- <br />SECTION II.
