Commonly known as Kensington Farms Subdivision Third Section, Part 2 ORDINANCE NO. 5355 -71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED, AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962, and General Ordinance No. 4990 -68 and the accompanying map or maps thereto, as amended, are further amended insofar as the same relate to that certain parcel of land situate in the City of South Bend, and known and designated as: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of York Road and the north line of Section 6, Township 36 North, Range 3 East (a point on the present City Limits line); thence south 250 feet; thence west 1680 feet, more or less, to a point on the present City Limits line; thence northerly 290 feet along the present City Limits line to the southwest corner of Lot 67 in Kensington Farms Sub- division, Section 3, Part 2; thence northerly and easterly and southerly along the present City Limits line (which line is also the boundary line of Kensington Farms Sub- division, Section 3, Part 2) to the southeast corner of Lot 77 in Kensington Farms Subdivision, Section 3, Part 2; thence south 40 feet along the present City Limits line to the south line of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence east along the south line of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East (which section line is also the present City Limits line) a distance of 927 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, containing 29.4 acres, all in the southwest quarter of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East and the northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 36 North, Range 3 East, Centre Township, St.ioseph County, Indiana, excepting all legal highways and right of ways, by changing the classification of the "Use District" from "Unzoned" to "A" Residential and from "No" Height and Area District to "A" Height and Area District.
