ORDINANCE NO 5333 -71 Trans Funds - Office of Controller AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT B -241, 11PRINTING, OTHER THAN OFFICE SUPPLIES ", IN THE OFFICE OF CONTROLLER BUDGET, SAID ACCOUNT BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Controller's office to publish and distribute a report from the Charitable Solicitation Committee and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $1,000.00 be appropriated from the General Fund to Account B -241, "Printing Other than Office Supplies ", within the General Fund. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
