ORDINANCE NO. 5- �/ P/- �?,? <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE I, <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, 1971. <br />1. SECTION I: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />2. SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />3. All of Chapter 11, Article I, except the number and <br />4. title thereof, is hereby deleted and the following is <br />5. inserted in place thereof: <br />6. (a) The 1970 Second Edition (including 1971 Supplement) <br />7, of the BOCA Basic Housing - Property Maintenance <br />8, Code, and as promulgated by the Building Officials <br />9, and Code Administrators International, Inc., at <br />10. least two (2) copies of which are on file with <br />11. the City Clerk and thereby made available for <br />12, public scrutiny, is hereby adopted as the official <br />13. housing and property maintenance code of the City of <br />14. South Bend, Indiana. <br />15. (b) The following shall be exception to the BOCA Basic <br />16. Housing - Property Maintenance Code: <br />17, (1) Section H -102.1 shall be deleted entirely without <br />substitution. <br />18.
