Krueper, Jr., Bureau Manager <br />RE: Ordinances for the Purchase of an Assortment of Water <br />Meters for use From April 1, 1973 to April 1, 1974 <br />The Bureau of Water is presenting three ordinances to the Common <br />Council for the purchase of an assortment of water meters for use <br />from April 1, 1973 to April 1, 1974. <br />The meters are of various sizes and will be used as needed through- <br />out the system. A certain number of these must be on hand at all <br />times in order to provide us with supplies for immediate and necessary <br />service to the consumer. The quantity stated in the bids is the <br />maximum amount that would be purchased during the year. Said meters <br />will be purchased as needed. <br />Bids were let pursuant to the Statutes of the State of Indiana and <br />were found competitive. The contracts were let on an item basis to <br />Badger Meter, Inc., Rockwell Manufacturing Company and Hersey Products, <br />Inc., Ametrol Division by the Board of water Works Commissioners on <br />the 19th day of March, 1973, as being the lowest and the best.
