ORDINANCE NO. 5-S-10--2,3 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $42,750,00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND AND $14,250.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND FOR PROJECT R & S 58 - NORTH SIDE BLVD. FROM FRANCES STREET TO WAYNE STREET WHEREAS, there was enacted during the 1969 Session of the Indiana General Assembly an Act, Chapter 392 of the Acts of 1969, making available to cities, towns and counties for engineering, construction or reconstruction of roads, streets and bridges under local jurisdiction, certain additional funds to be derived from the 7th and 8th cents of Indiana motor fuel tax and fuel use tax and from increases in fees levied under the Motor Vehicle Act; and WHEREAS, no appropriation of such funds was included in the regular 1973 budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana; and WHEREAS, an emergency exists requiring the appropriation and expenditure of certain of said funds already received or to be received before the end of the year 1973; and WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated for the City's matching funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Local Road and Street Fund and the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the purpose of reconstruction and the installation of a storm sewer on North Side Blvd. Prolect No. Location Amount R & S 58 North Side Blvd. from Frances Street to Wayne Street Local Road and Street Fund $42,750.00 Cumulative Sewer Building & Sinking Fund 14,250.00 TOTAL PROJECT - $57,000.00 SECTION II.
