ORDINANCE NO. 5465 -72 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN <br />THE CITY CLERK'S BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $240.00 <br />FROM C -252 "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" TO C -725 <br />"PROPERTIES" BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE <br />GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that <br />it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was <br />appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions <br />of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Office of City <br />Clerk for Account C -725 "Properties" to assure that depart- <br />ment's ability to properly perform its functions; and <br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is <br />not presently needed and more specifically as follows, <br />to -wit: <br />$240.00 in Account C -252 "Repairs of Equipment" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $240.00 be transferred from <br />Account C -252 "Repairs of Equipment" to Account C -725 <br />"Properties" in the City Clerk's Budget, both accounts <br />being within the General Fund. <br />SECTION II.
