An Ordinance affecting a tract of land located in the 3000 block of East Edison Road on the South Side in the City of South Bend, Indiana. NO. 5453 -72 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code of South Bend, Indiana. Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: Section 1. Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code of South Bend, Indiana, (South Bend City Zoning Ordinance No. 4990), be, and the same is hereby amended, sup- plemented and changed in Section 40 -14 (Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4990), and Section 40 -24 (Sec- tion 9 of Ordinance No. 4990) thereof to provide that the following described real estate located in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit: A part of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the North and Souci, center- line of said Section 5, 949.88 feet on an assumed bearing of North 0 010126" West of the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter, said point being on the North line of Hope Avenue as shown on the recorded plat of Edison Park Addition; thence North 89 049134" East, 150 feet to the point of curvature of a curve with a deflec- tion angle of 34 138' to the left and a radius of 231.59 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve, 139.99 feet, arc measurement, to the point of tangency; thence North 55 °11'34" East, 271.01 feet to the point �f curvature of a curve with a deflection angle of 34 129'04" to the right and a radius of 308.45 feet; thence Easterly along said curve, 185.64 feet, arc measurement to the point of tangency, said point being on the West line of the re- corded plat'of McKinley Terrace Addition, Section "B ", thence North 0 019'22" West along said West line of McKinley Terrace Addition Section "B ", 102.47 feet; thence South 89 022134" West, 678.85 feet to the North and South centerline of said Section 5; thence South 0 °10126" East along said North and South centerline,. 346.86 feet to the place of beginning, containing 3.875 acres more or less.
