ORDINANCE NO. 55 57 - -23 <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE MOTOR <br />VEHICLE HIGHWAY BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,000.00 BETWEEN <br />VARIOUS ACCOUNTS, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE MOTOR <br />VEHICLE HIGHWAY BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br />the adoption of the existing budget for the Motor Vehicle Highway Department, <br />so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in <br />the original budget for two accounts to meet such extraordinary conditions; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a surplus exists in two accounts of the Motor Vehicle <br />Highway budget, which is not presently needed: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I.
