ORDINANCE NO. Sl 9 9- 7 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $20,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC PARK PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Depart- ment of Public Parks to administer certain Public Parks programs and to insure the Departments ability to properly perform its functions during the year of 1974. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. That the sum of $209000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Depart- ment of Public Parks and will be distributed as set forth below: Program FA62 "Newman Recreation Center" Account Description Amount Services Contractual 251.0 Building Repairs $209000.00 Total FA62 $20,000.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
