ORDINANCE NO. 5-69,-?L-2q AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND LANDMARK OF INDIANA, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE IN THE AMOUNT OF $163,000..00 AND COMMITMENT FOR THE APPROVAL OF APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of.the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana and Landmark of Indiana, Inc. on the 10th day of June, 1974, for the purchase of Lots 148, 149 and 150 of the original plat of the City of South Bend for the sum of $163,000.00, which land acquisition is necessary for the construction of a connector at the Marion Street location between Michigan and Main Street in South Bend is hereby approved and confirmed. SECTION II. Upon approval of the Michigan -Main connector at the Marion Street location by the Local Road and Street Board of the State of Indiana, commitment is hereby made by the Common Council of the City of South Bend to the appropriation of $146,700.00 from the Local Road and Street Fund, and $16,300.00 from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund for the funding of such purchase. SECTION III.
