S,? i 7- -7 q <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BUREAU OF <br />WATER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND; (1.) <br />BADGER METER, INCORPORATED, OF MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, AND <br />(2.) ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, OF PITTSBURGH, <br />PENNSYLVANIA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN WATER METERS IN <br />THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $91,229.00. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the contract entered into between the Bureau of Water of <br />South Bend, Indiana, and; (l.) Badger Meter, Incorporated, of Milwaukee, <br />Wisconsin, and (2.) Rockwell International Corporation, of Pittsburgh, <br />Pennsylvania, on the 5th day of August, 1974 as the purchase of certain <br />water meters is required in the operation of said Bureau of Water in a <br />total quantity and a total cost not to exceed the quantity and cost item- <br />ized for each classification hereafter listed in the total amount of <br />$91,229.00, is hereby approved and confirmed: <br />(1.) Badger Meter, Incorporated <br />2,000 Badger 5/8" SC -FROM with plastic top <br />(Less Conns.) $ 78,880.00 <br />(2.) Rockwell International Corporation <br />60 - Sealed Register Meters with Remote Reading- 3/4" <br />$ 2,973.00 <br />40 - Sealed Register Meters with Remote Reading- 1" <br />$ 3,062.00 <br />20 - Sealed Register Meters with Remote Reading- 12" <br />$ 2,750.00 <br />18 - Sealed Register Meters with Remote Reading- 2" <br />$ 3,564.00 <br />$ 12,349.00 <br />TOTAL AMOUNT $ 91,229.00 <br />SECTION II.
