A� <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $244,268.00 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFER- <br />RED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS <br />PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Depat- <br />ment of Public Works to administer certain public works pro- <br />grams and to insure the Department's ability to properly per- <br />form its functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common <br />Council of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $244,268.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust <br />Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Depart- <br />ment of Public Works and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA55 "Street Department Materials" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Materials 423.0 Emulsion $135,427.00 <br />424.0 Bituminous Material 108,841.00 <br />Total Materials $244,268.00 <br />Total FA55 $244,268.00 <br />SECTION II.
