ORDINANCE NO. S617.2-?J4 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $28,500.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COM- <br />MONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PRO- <br />GRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the <br />Department of Public Works to administer certain public works <br />programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly <br />perform its, functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common <br />Council of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $28,500.00 is <br />hereby appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal <br />Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue <br />Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered <br />by the Department of Public Works and will be distributed <br />as set forth below: <br />Program FA54 "Leaf Picking Equipment" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Properties 722.0 Motor Equipment $28,500.00 <br />Total Motor Equipment $28,500.00 <br />Total FA54 i$28,500.00 <br />SECTION II.
