SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 30, 2013 ORDINANCE NO. 10265-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE DESIGNATED ENTERPRISE FUNDS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2014, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2014 INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS, AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT This bill had third reading. Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to pass this bill. Councilmember Scott seconded the motion. The bill passed by a roll call vote of eight (8) ayes and one (1) nay (Councilmember Henry Davis Jr.) ORDINANCE NO. 10266-13 AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND NON-BARGAINING EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2014 This bill had third reading. Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to amend this bill as in the Committee of the Whole. Councilmember Dr. David Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of six (6) ayes and three (3) nays (Councilmember’s Scott, Gavin Ferlic, and White.) Additionally, Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to pass this bill as amended in the Committee of the Whole. Councilmember Dr. David Varner seconded the motion. The bill passed by a roll call vote of six (6) ayes and three (3) nays (Councilmember’s White, Gavin Ferlic, Scott.) ORDINANCE NO. 10267-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IDIANA, FIXING MAXIMUM WAGES OF TEAMSTER EMPLOYEES FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2014 This bill had third reading. Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to amend this bill as in the Committee of the Whole. Councilmember Dr. David Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Additionally, Councilmember Dr. David Varner made a motion to pass this bill as amended. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine (9) ayes.
