ORDINANCE NO. 5594 -73 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 5053 -69 <br />REGULATING THE PRESENCE OF MINORG UNDER THE <br />FULL AGE OF EIGHTEEN YEARS ON PUBLIC STREETS <br />AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES BETWEEN CERTAIN HOURS. <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council on January 27, 1969, passed <br />Ordinance No. 5053 -69 regulating the presence of minors under the <br />full age of eighteen years on public streets and other public <br />places between certain hours; and <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary to repeal said Ordinance <br />No. 5053 -69 in order to facilitate the operations of the Bureau of <br />Police in keeping the streets of South Bend safe and quiet; and <br />WHEREAS, Burns Statute ®9 -3204 will better suffice to <br />facilitate the operations of the Bureau of Police in keeping the <br />streets of South Bend safe and quiet. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 5053 -69 adopted by the Common <br />Council on January 27, 1969, is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />r�� <br />- m . <br />Passed October 22, 1973, as amended. <br />
