Tomalturr Irport <br />00 tke (Eumwu ( 0unrd of tot, Iito of Omd# lkttk- <br />Your Committee of the Whole <br />to whom was referred <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1971, BY <br />THE ADDITION OF ARTICLE 6 TO <br />PROHIBIT THE BURNING OF LEAVES <br />WITHIN THE CITY. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance should go <br />to the Council as favorable, as amended: <br />Add the following to Sec. 13 -76 (a): <br />"except that leaf burning will be allowed from <br />7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the following times <br />during the year: From October 15 to November 15 <br />and from April 15 to May 15 of each year." <br />Sec. 13 -77 to read as follows: <br />Any person violating any provision of Article 6, <br />Section 13 -76, shall, upon conviction, be deemed <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable <br />by a fine of not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) <br />but no more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)." <br />Odell Newburn <br />Chairman <br />'......s. 9" , ,uausw... <o. <br />
