ORDINANCE NO. 5573 -73 AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF $ 8,030.00.FROM_THE FEDERAL - ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY KNOWN AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, TO ACCOUNT 722 "PROPERTIES" OF THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FA -5 "MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT ", TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA THROUGH ITS DEPART- MENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the budget for the Federal Assistance Program FA -5 "Motor Vehicle Highway Equipment ", so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated for this budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for the Federal Assistance Program FA -5 "Motor Vehicle Highway Equipment" in order for that Program to properly perform its functions; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend: SECTION I. That the sum of $ 8,030.00 be appropriated from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund to Account 722 "Properties" of the Federal Assistance Program FA -5 "Motor Vehicle Highway Equip- ment", a federal assistance program of the City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION II.
