/a N ORDINANCE NO. $- S d ?- 7 3 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 5,500.00 FROM ACCOUNT P -12 "SERVICES PERSONAL" TO ACCOUNT 724 "RADIO EQUIPMENT ", BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Police Department to meet expenses. and to assure that Department's ability to properly perform its functions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed, and more specificaaly as follows, to -wit: $ 5,500.00 in Account P -12, "Services Personal ". NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend: SECTION I. That the sum of $ 5,500.00 be transferred from Account P -12 "Services Personal" to Account 724 "Radio Equipment ", both accounts being within the Police Department Budget of the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION II.
