ORDINANCE NO. S&gkj -'714 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, IN THE AMOUNT OF $125,000.00 FROM ACCOUNT 440.0 "OTHER MATERIALS" TO ACCOUNT 730.0, "LAND ", BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for an account than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed and more specifically as follows, to -wit: $125,000.00 in Account 440 -0, "Other Material" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: SECTION I. That the sum of $125,000.00 be transferred from Account 440.0 "Other Materials" to Account 730.0, "Land ", both accounts being within the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
