ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $22,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS <br />GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY <br />PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Public Safety to administer certain public safety programs and to insure <br />the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the <br />year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $22,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year of- 9om the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly <br />known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is <br />to be administered by the Department of Public Safety and will be <br />distributed as set forth below: <br />FA -46 "AerialTractor - ForFire Deot." <br />Account Description Amount <br />Properties 722.0 Motor Equipment $22,000.00 <br />Total Properties $22,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
