1/22/74 <br />,x1-o . <br />",L, O s <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5637 -74 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS AMENDED, <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA (Chapter 40, Municipal Code). <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section 1: <br />Ordinance No. 4990 -68, as amended, which ordinance is <br />commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning <br />classification of the following described real estate in the City of <br />South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br />A parcel of land in the Southwest One- Quarter <br />(1/4) of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 <br />East, described as commencing at the Northwest <br />corner of Lot Numbered 21 in Hawblitzel's Addition, <br />which point is also on the South line of Ireland <br />Road; thence West along the South side of Ireland <br />Road 553.7 feet; thence South 300 feet; thence <br />East on a line parallel to the South line of said <br />Ireland Road 553.7 feet, more or less; thence North, <br />300 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning <br />in St. Joseph County, Indiana, containing 3.81 <br />acres, more or less. <br />be and the same is hereby established as 11C -2 Planned Shopping <br />Center" and a "C" Height and Area District. <br />Section 2: <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and <br />legal publication. <br />Member of Corfimoh Council <br />Passed February 11, 1974, as amended. <br />THORNBURG.
