Lantz, Chief Deputy Controller <br />SUBJECT: Director of Police Computer Center <br />The individual who had agreed to take this position has indicated he <br />is no longer interested. However, Larry Low, Director of Computer <br />Center, has an individual employed by the Computer Center who is <br />capable of performing these duties. Obtaining the services of this <br />individual would require an amendment transferring the funds in this <br />Ordinance to Services Contractual. A contract could then be entered <br />into between the City of South Bend and the Computer Center for <br />these services; and the individual would remain on the Computer <br />Center's payroll. <br />We are requesting permission to present this amendment. <br />
