ORDINANCE NO. 5635 -74 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,000.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT <br />COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL <br />REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC <br />SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED <br />BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH <br />ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the <br />Department of Public Safety to administer certain public safety <br />programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly <br />perform its functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common <br />Council of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $12,000.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust <br />Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department <br />of Public Safety and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA40 "Director Police Computer Center" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services Contractual 262.0 Services Contractual $12,000.00 <br />Total Services Contractual $12,000.00 <br />Total FA40 $12,000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force <br />and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, <br />approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory <br />requirements for emergency appropriations. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Passed February 11, 1974, as amended. <br />
