ORDINANCE NO. 5633 -74 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $17,000.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT <br />COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PRO- <br />GRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department <br />of Public Works to administer certain public works programs and <br />to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions <br />during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $17,000.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance Grant <br />Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. <br />This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of <br />Public Works and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA45 "M.S.F. Ventilation Improvements" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services Contractual 262.0 Services Contractual $17,000.00 <br />Total Services Contractual $17,000.00 <br />Total FA45 $171000.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force <br />and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval <br />by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for <br />emergency appropriations. <br />Member of the Common Council <br />Passed January 28, 1974, as amended. <br />
