SGoo --?5I <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,297.00 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, <br />FOR VARIOUS LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAMS, <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF LAW. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Law to administer certain law enforcement programs and to ensure the Depart- <br />ment's ability to properly perform its functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That the sume of $14, 297.00 is hereby appropriated' <br />for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known <br />as the General Revenue Sharing Funds. This appropriation is to be administered <br />by the Department of Law and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA 42 "Legal Staff Assistants" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services Personal 120.00 Wages $13,500.00 <br />Total Wages $13,500.00 <br />Current Obligations 620.00 FICA $ 797.00 <br />Total FA 42 $14,297.00 <br />SECTION 11.
