ORDINANCE NO. 56 a i --7 3 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $10,500. 00 FROM THE SEWERAGE WORKS IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SLUDGE FARM TRACTOR. WHEREAS, a Sludge Farm Tractor is needed by the Bureau of Sanitation, and WHEREAS, a bid of $10,500.00 for the sale of such tractor was offered by A. H. Choitz and Company, Inc., and WHEREAS, the bid of $10,500. 00 by A. H. Choitz and Company, Inc., was accepted by the Board of Waste Water Commissioners on October 15, 1973, and WHEREAS, funds are now needed for purchase of this Sludge Farm Tractor, and WHEREAS, a Sewerage Works Improvement Fund has been established. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $10, 500.00 be appropriated from the Sewerage Works Improvement Fund for the purchase of a Sludge Farm Tractor from A. H. Choitz and Company, Inc., 1332 South Olive Street, South Bend, Indiana. SECTION II.
