r <br />Members of the Common Council <br />Page 2 <br />October 9, 1974 <br />Of the amount requested, $32,945 were funds originally appropriated in <br />1973 but inadvertantly left off the re- appropriation ordinance passed <br />earlier this year. These particular amounts are not actually "new" <br />or additional funds. <br />The remaining $168,000 is required for architectural fees for Johnson <br />Burgee, Sollitt Construction Company management fees and an additive for } <br />the demolition of the power house. The power house demolition was <br />originally budgeted at $10,000, but the contract was for $40,000, of <br />which $10,000 is still outstanding; the difference of $20,000 was paid <br />for by the existing Other Contractuals Account in F.A. 45. Also paid <br />for out of the existing Other Contractuals Account were Sollitt's fees. <br />k <br />As a net result, the above payments, coupled with the original under- <br />budgeting of Johnson - Burgee fees, a shortage in Other Contractuals <br />Account has occurred.
