ORDINANCE NO. 5-7 (o a - <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $201,925.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND TO VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE F.A. PROGRAM 45 "CIVIC CENTER <br />AUTHORITY" TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing budget for F.A. Program 45 "Civic <br />Center originally appropriated for the Civic Center Authority" <br />so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money that was <br />originally appropriated for the Civic Center Authority to carry <br />out its governmental functions; and <br />WHEREAS, $32,945.00 was appropriated in 1973 for F.A. <br />Program 31 for certain promotional, salary and related expenses and <br />should have been re- appropriated in Ordinance No. 5626 -74 but was <br />not; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funds totalling $168, 980.00 are now <br />needed for architectural fees, construction management fees, and <br />demolition; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $201,925.00 be, and hereby <br />is appropriated from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund to F.A. <br />Program 45, "Civic Center Authority ", to be administered by the <br />Department of Public Works as set forth below: <br />F.A. 45 "Civic Center Authority" <br />Services Personal <br />110.00 <br />Services Contractual <br />214.0 <br />260.0 <br />"Salaries" $ 2,950.00 <br />"Telephone" 500.00 <br />"Other Contractuals" <br />Architectural Fees 120,000.00 <br />Construction Management 48,000.00 <br />Demolition 10,000.00 <br />Total 260.0 Other Contractuals $178,000.00 <br />261.0 Promotional Expense 20,300.00 <br />TOTAL SERVICES CONTRACTUAL $198,300.00 <br />Current Obligations <br />620.0 "Social Security" 175.00 <br />TOTAL F.A. 45 y$201,925.00 <br />SECTION II.
