ORDINANCE NO. S -? s 8- -) y <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $110,000.00 <br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING <br />FUND. <br />WHEREAS, engineering studies have been completed outlining <br />needs for a separated sewer system in the Model Cities area; and <br />WHEREAS, these studies show a need for the acquisition of land; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of South Bend, through its Common Council and <br />Mayor have entered into a contract with HUD to build said sewer project; and <br />WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has been <br />established; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed for the necessary land acquisition. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section I. That the sum of $110,000.00 be appropriated from <br />the Cumulative Sewer luilding and Sinking Fund for the necessary land acquisition <br />for the Model Cities Sewer Separation Project, CS -2, 1972. <br />TOTAL APPROPRIATION $110,000.00 <br />Section II.
