ORDINANCE NO. 5742 -74 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $23,750.00 <br />FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, <br />COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS HUMAN RESOURCES <br />PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS <br />DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department <br />of Human Resources to administer certain Human Resources programs <br />and to insure the department's ability to properly perform its <br />functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $23,750.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund,.commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust <br />Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department <br />of Human Resources and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA66 "Drug Abuse Program" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services <br />Contractual 260.0 Other Contractual Services $23,750.00 <br />Total Services Contractual $23,750.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect from andnd a-fterits passage by the Common Council, approval <br />by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements <br />for emergency appropriations. <br />Passed October 14, 1974, as amended. <br />
