ORDINANCE NO. s 7 3 2- 7 k/ <br />/a F <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $26,730.00 <br />FROM THE LOCAL ROADS AND STREETS FUND, AND $2,970.00 <br />FROM LINE ITEM 260.0 OF THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVE- <br />MENT FUND TO R &S 66 and R &S 67 AS SET FORTH IN SECTION I <br />OF THIS ORDINANCE <br />WHEREAS, there was enacted during the 1969 Session of the Indiana <br />General Assembly an Act, Chapter 392 of the Acts of 1969, making avail- <br />able to cities, towns and counties for engineering, construction or <br />reconstruction of roads, streets and bridges under local jurisdiction, <br />certain additional funds to be derived from the 7th and 8th cents of <br />Indiana motor fuel tax and fuel use tax and from increases in fees <br />levied under the Motor Vehicle Act, and <br />WHEREAS, no appropriation of such funds was included in the regular <br />1974 budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana; and <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists requiring the appropriation and <br />expenditure of certain of said funds already received or to be received <br />before the end of the year; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are to be appropriated for the City's matching share <br />from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I.
