ORDINANCE NO. 5- -7 a:y - -2 4/ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL VACATIONS FOR CITY PERSONEL BE IT ENACTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND THAT SECTION 2 -46 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: 1. Delete from Section 2 -46 of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend: (a) Each and every appointive officer, employee, deputy, assistant and departmental and institutional head shall be entitled to an annual vacation as follows: (1) Those having less than one (1) years' service with the City: No days paid vacation; (2) Those having more than one (1) and less than ten (10) years' service with the City: Ten (10) working days of paid vacation; (3) Those having ten (10) years' and less than twenty (20) years' service with the City: Fifteen (15) working days of paid vacation; and, (4) Those having twenty (20) or more years' service with the City; Twenty (20) working days of paid vacation. 2. Insert in lieu thereof the following: (a) Each and every appointive officer, employee, deputy, assistant and departmental and institutional head shall be entitled to an annual vacation as follows: (1) Those having less than one (1) years' service with the City: No days paid vacation; (2) Those having more than one (1) and less than eight (8) years' service with the City: Ten (10) working days of paid vacation; (3) Those having eight (8) years' and less than sixteen (16) years' service with the City: Fifteen (15) working days of paid vacation; and, (4) Those having sixteen (16) or more years' service with the City: Twenty (20) working days of paid vacation.
