ORDINANCE NO. z;-,) / 3 - '7 q <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $44,800.00 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, <br />FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the <br />Department of Public Safety to administer certain Public Safety <br />programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly <br />perform its functions during the year of 1974. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $44,800.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1974 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust <br />Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department <br />of Public Safety and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />"Program FA64 "Overtime Foot Patrol" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services <br />Personal 130.0 "Extra & Overtime" $44,800.00 <br />Total Services Personal $44,800.00 <br />Total FA64 $44,800.00 <br />SECTION II.
