Hunt, Controller, SBPTC <br />SUBJECT: Revenue Sharing Appropriation for the South Bend Public Transportation <br />Corporation <br />The attached proposed ordinance is necessary to enable the Public Transportation <br />Corporation to continue service at its present level. As you are aware, the <br />PTC was not able to obtain the full tax rate required to maintain service <br />in 1974. Therefore it turned to the.,City of South Bend for assistance from <br />federal revenue sharing funds. <br />A complete financial report and statement of analysis is currently being <br />prepared for the Council's perusal.
