ORDINANCE NO. S 7 96 - -2 S AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $172,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND TO ACCOUNT NO. 260.1 "ARCHITECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FEES AND EXPENSES", AN ACCOUNT WITHIN THE NEW FEDERAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM F.A. 75 "CIVIC CENTER CONSTRUCTION TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Works in order to fulfill its contractual obligations for the first quarter of Calendar Year 1975; and WHEREAS, these contractual obligations include architectural fees and expenses for the design of the Civic Center, and construction management fees and expenses for its building; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $172,000.00 be, and hereby is, appro- priated from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund to Account No. 260.1 "Architect and Construction Management Fees and Expenses ", an account within the new Federal Assistance Program F.A. 75 "Civic Center Con- struction" to be administered by the Department of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. F.A. 75 "Civic Center Construction" (95.0260.1.075.50) Account No. 260.1 "Architects and Construction Management Fees and Expenses" Johnson /Burgee Architects $150,000.00 Sollitt Construction Company 22,000.00 TOTAL ACCOUNT 260.1 $172;000.00 SECTION II.
