ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $306,365.58 TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AS PAYMENT OF THE CITY'S ASSESSMENT ON THE PROJECT ENTITLED "PORTAGE GARDENS LOCAL SEWERS AND LINDEN AVENUE TRUNK SEWERS. WHEREAS, the Portage Gardens Local Sewers and Linden Avenue Trunk Sewers have been constructed pursuant to a contract between H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractor, Incorporated, and the Civil City of South Bend; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend was assessed in the amount of $306,365.58, for its 50•� portion of this Barrett Law Project; and WHEREAS, funds are now needed to pay the city's share of the assessed cost of said construction; and WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has been established. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $306,365.58 be appropriated from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the project and in the amount set forth below: Portage Gardens Local Sewers and Linden Avenue Trunk Sewers - - $306,365.58. SECTION II.
