ORDINANCE NO. 58i .7-7S AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $100,000 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMkUNLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Works to administer certain public works programs and to insure the department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year of 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. That the sum of $100,000 is hereby appropriated for the year o 1975 rom the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be admin- istered by the Department of Public Works and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 78 "Street Department Programs" Account Description Amount Materials 440.0 Other Materials $ 47,200 Total Materials $ 47,200 Properties 722.0 Motor Equipment $ 52,800 Total Properties $ 52,800 Total FA 78 $100,000 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and a tear it's passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency funding.
