ORDINANCE NO. S g i a- o s AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,600.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY. WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Safety to administer certain public safety programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year of 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: SECTION I. That the sum of $12,600.00 is hereby appropriated for the year of 1975 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Safety and will be dis- tributed as set forth below: Program FA40 "Police Coordinator - Computer Center" Account Description Amount Services Contractual 262.0 Services Contractual $12,600.00 Total Services Contractual $12,600.00 Total FA40 $12,600.00 SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and aTt—er it's by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency approp- riations.
