ORDINANCE NO. 5- 903 -9 5� <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO <br />AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS MERIT <br />STUDY COMMISSION FUNCTIONS, TO BE ADMINISTERED <br />BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department <br />of Public Safety to administer certain Merit Commission <br />functions and to insure the department's ability to properly <br />perform its functions during the year of 1975. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $4,000.00 is hereby <br />appropriated for the year of 1975 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. <br />This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of <br />Public Safety and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA 94 "Merit Study Commission" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Supplies 370.0 Other Supplies $4,000.00 <br />Total Other Supplies $4,000.00 <br />Total FA 94 $4,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
