ORDINANCE NO. gD / '7S <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $25,000.00 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO <br />AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC <br />SAFETY PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY. <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of <br />Public Safety to administer certain public safety programs and to insure <br />the Department's ability to properly perform its functions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $25,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />from the Federal Assistance Grant fund, commonly known as the General <br />Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the <br />Department of Public Safety and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Program FA91 "Foot Patrol and Stake Out" <br />Account Description Amount <br />Services <br />Personal 130.0 Extra and Overtime $25,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
