ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,200.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PARK DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Parks to administer certain Park Department Programs and to insure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year of 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend as follows: Section I. That the sum of $5,200.00 is hereby appropriated for the year of 1975 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Parks and will be distributed as set forth below: Program FA 88 "Equipment For City Parks" Account Description Amount Properties 726.0 Other Equipment $5,200.00 Total Other Equipment $5,200.00 Total FA 88 $5,200.00 Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency appropriations.
