RESOLUTION NO. 3183 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT (Studebaker National Museum) WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") is the governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment (the "Department ") established under the Redevelopment of Cities and Towns Act of 1953, as amended, being Indiana Code § 36-7 -14-1 et seq. (the "Act "); and WHEREAS, the Department is the owner of property located in the City of South Bend and commonly known as the Studebaker National Museum; and WHEREAS, the Department has been approached by Google, Inc. to conduct a survey of the Studebaker National Museum for purposes of collecting Location Information; and WHEREAS, Google, Inc. has requested the Department designate a "Contact Person" to electronically execute an access agreement, in the form attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and to co- ordinate the efforts of Google, Inc. in collecting the Location Information; and WHEREAS, the Commission desires to expressly authorize the Assistant City Attorney to act as the designated Contact Person and to electronically execute the access agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Assistant City Attorney is hereby authorized to act as the designated Contact Person and to electronically execute the access agreement on behalf of the Commission and to co- ordinate the efforts of Google, Inc. in collecting Location Information for the Studebaker National Museum. 2. The authority granted under this Resolution expires on December 31, 2013. 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption. ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on November 14, 2013, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
